Call for papers and workshops

We warmly welcome you to participate in the Symposium and invite you hereby to submit a paper or workshop related to the theme of the Symposium.

If you are interested please note the following important deadlines:

1. Before November 30th 2008

• For papers:
  Submit a 2-page abstract to the following e-mail address:kodaly@am.katowice.pl to the attention of Dominika Lenska.
  
  
• For workshops:
  Submit a 2-page summary of the objective and content to the following e-mail address: kodaly@am.katowice.pl /put the following phrase in the subject: to the attention of Dominika Lenska.
  
  

VERY IMPORTANT: Timing will be strictly respected!!
For Lectures it is 20 minutes
For workshops it is 40 minutes

You submissions will be reviewed by a committee and you will be announced acceptance or non-acceptance of your paper/workshop the latest by March 1st 2009.

2. Before May 30th 2009

• For papers:
  If your paper is accepted you will be requested to send:
  

1. your full lecture. We need the copy to produce the CD with the various lectures.
   
2. to submit the text in ENGLISH, typed in Times New Roman (13), with 1,5 spacing, justified, Footnotes at the bottom and References at the end. If you would like to hold your lecture in you mother tongue it can only be done if you provide simultaneous translation at your own expenses.
   
3. your bio (max 120 words) and photograph.
   
4. details of technical equipment that you will need.
   
5. information about handouts.

• For workshops:
  If your workshop is accepted you will be requested to send:
  

1. your bio (max 120 words) and photograph.
   
2. details of technical equipment that you will need.
   
3. information about handouts.
